Shiseido Sun Protection Lip Treatment SPF 35 Review

Sun Protection Lip Treatment is a lightweight sunscreen lip balm with a blend of mineral (titanium dioxide) and chemical (octinoxate) sun filters.  The lip balm feels silky going on and it imparts a soft sheen.  The titanium dioxide slightly lightens the natural lip color without looking chalky.  The formula may not be moisturizing enough for those with dry, chapped lips.  

Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion SPF 55 PA+++ Review

Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion is a lightweight milky fluid that absorbs quickly and leaves behind only a hint of white residue.  The lotion has a sheer satin finish that keeps the skin matte throughout the day.  The formula protects the skin against UV rays with a high concentration of zinc oxide and octinoxate.  The lotion is water- and perspiration-resistant, but it can be difficult to remove with a regular cleanser (Shiseido offers a cleansing oil that helps to remove water-resistant sunscreen).  This product has a light floral scent. 

Shiseido Sun Protection Eye Cream SPF 32 PA+++ Review

This lightweight cream feels a bit tacky going on but absorbs into the skin without a hint of greasiness.  The cream provides light hydration and brightens the eye area with light diffusing powders.  The formula stays put throughout the day and creates a good base for eye makeup.  The cream protects the eye area from the sun with a blend of zinc oxide and octinoxate.  This product is lightly scented. 

Shiseido Ultimate Cleansing Oil Review

Ultimate Cleansing Oil is a clear mineral oil-based cleanser with a soft floral scent.  This lightweight oil should be massaged onto dry skin to help dissolve makeup and waterproof sunscreen.  Once the oil comes in contact with water, it forms a milky emulsion that rinses off without a greasy residue.  This product can be followed with a regular face wash for a more thorough cleansing.

Shiseido Zen Eau de Parfum Review

Zen is a soft fruity floral scent.  The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes and a touch of honeyed florals.  The citrus notes are followed by sweet fruit and a rosy floral bouquet.  The fruity floral blend mellows into a sweet warm finish.  Notes include: Pineapple, Grapefruit, Blue Rose, Freesia, Violet, Lotus Flower, Chinese Rose, Patchouli, Musk, Amber.

Shiseido Perfect Smoothing Compact Foundation SPF 15 Review

This powder foundation has a creamy, silky texture and offers medium coverage with a natural finish.  The colors appear dark and orange in the compact but look much lighter on the skin.  The foundation looks slightly powdery going on but it melts into the skin after a few minutes.  This product feels very comfortable on the skin but it can accentuate large pores and dry flakes.  The finish becomes a bit shiny with wear.
