the review is nice & accurate for the most part. but you don't have to tap it against a hard surface ALL the time! since i bought it in march i have never done that not even when it was new. and it does have a scent but it is not that strong!!!

Tapping it on a hard surface actually didn't work for me at all. I got really frustrated because every time I "tapped" then tested I was wasting a bunch of product. I ended up just emptying it all into another container and mixing it together. I have to say the design was really irritating to me.

Alissa, try shaking the bottle up and down before first use. It worked for me. Ella
