Armani Code Pour Femme Eau de Parfum Review

Armanicodeparfum_3Armani Code is a floral oriental that would be appropriate for autumn/winter or evening wear--it may be too cloying in warm weather.  The fragrance opens with a spicy citrus note but soon evolves into a sumptuous floral bouquet (with a discernible jasmine note) sweetened with vanilla and honey.  The drydown is soft, woody, and quite powdery.  Notes include: Blood Orange, Ginger, Pear Sorbet, Jasmine Sambac, Orange Blossom, Seringa Flower, Lavender Honey, Precious Woods Complex, Vanilla.

Armani Code Sheer Eau de Toilette Review

Armanicodesheer_2Armani Code Sheer is a lighter take on the original eau de parfum.  The top note is clean and slightly synthetic but gradually fades into the background as the floral notes emerge.  The florals are sheer and soft and warmed by a honey note.  The finish is clean and musky.  Notes include: Orange Blossom Petals, Cyclamen, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Honey, Delicate Musk.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Eau de Parfum Review

EmporioarmanidiamondsThis fragrance is pleasant but forgettable.  It opens with ripe fruit (lychee and raspberry) and quickly evolves into a sweet, sugary, concoction with a bit of powder.  I can only detect a hint of rose in this fragrance, and the vanilla seems to dominate the base notes.  The fragrance has good lasting power.  Notes include: Lychee, Raspberry, Rose, Freesia, Lily of the Valley, Vetiver, Cedar Wood, Patchouli, Vanilla.
